Was awarded the Standard bank International Pro20 Cricketer of the year for 2008    

Made his One Day International Debut on February 20, 2004 in a match against New Zealand and picked up two wickets.    

Made his First-class debut in the 1999-2000 season and in his first season he took six wickets for 36 runs for Easterns in a match against Griqualand West to shoot into prominence.
